Sanguinarian is a m/f vampyre historical with a BDSM theme.

Evangeline Rutledge, an innocent young girl of gentle birth, is sold by her avaricious guardian to a Lord with the reputation of being a vampire.

Terrified, Evangeline runs away, and Lord Dominic Ravenscroft, known as The Raven, anticipates her reluctance to marry him and goes after her. So begins their relationship.

The setting is a rundown castle in the wilds of the Yorkshire moors made yet more desolate because it is winter.

As it turns out Raven is not only a vampire but also an assassin for the British government, and the screams Evangeline heard upon her arrival were the screams of a traitor being killed, not an innocent woman murdered for her blood. Evangeline, when she discovers her true self, is not quite so innocent as everyone thought. Ultimately the vampire and the inexperienced girl find that being opposites can make a perfect marriage and that a spanking is extremely arousing.

  1. HI there, I took your challenge to read Sanguinarian and really enjoyed the book. I didn’t find Evangeline to be simpering but very spunky and not afraid of Raven in the least or afraid to play. In fact I found myself laughing out loud several times. The scenes with Raven, Evangeline, Mr Harding and the Vicar were quite entertaining, it seemed that Raven wanted to end Mr Harding’s life every time they were in the same room. This book was a fun read though definitely different from the Angel and The Assassin series. I do hope there will be more in that series. Sorry it took me a while to get back to you, I was reading a David Weber, Honor Harrington space opera series novel. Honor Harrington is a woman Kael would respect, she is almost as tall as him and could probably take him in hand to hand combat. Its a great series if you like space opera. I will be reading Knightly Love soon and then I will have read all your books, so I definitely hope there will be more. I envy you all that can create stories and put them to paper. Thanks, Kim

  2. I just finished your book and LOVED it. Keep me reading right untill the end. Are we going to find out what happens to Raven and Evie, maybe Munk and and Mrs Bracket or even Harding and Dominica. I would love to know if they end up haveing the baby to finsh recieveing his inheritence.
